Oh...god of emotions
Omnipresent, omnipotent
who brought us to the end of ravishment
Deprive us of our ability to sympathize
Undeniable, unquestionable
Oh...dieu des émotions
Clairvoyant, malveillant
Il me donna un cœur de Sisyphe
Et une âme sans sens
Je fus convaincu par la fureur, l’extase et la solitude à maintes reprises
Je poursuivis le sens de vie dans l’absurde
qui me tua
Je cherchais, en vain, l’accès
Misérablement désemparé
J’utilisai ma raison afin de le nier
Mais je réalisai que ce dieu n’a jamais existé
Fus-je fou ?
Je devins le dieu...

Ἡ εἰκών was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, Ψευδομένη arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer

An outstanding beast of an album! After testing the waters with Ἡ εἰκών, delivering more of that on the twice as long Ψευδομένη, J.L. seemingly decided to make Τρωθησομένη at least twice as aggressive. The atmosphere its predecessor had has been cut and replaced by riff after riff after riff. Riffs of all sorts, as should be noted: punky, pumping, sick, and grooving. It's like getting clapped by a frenzied maniac for 40 minutes straight. One of the wildest albums I've heard in a while! David Fischer

Breathless firehose of everything angular, urgent & relentless on offer since somebody put the word black into music. A m a z I n g! Mcgilroy the Housefly

A consistently amazing band! Brings in new elements without letting up on the intensity. The saxophone adds an interesting edge, helping with the cacophony, sometimes, almost melodic at others... Brian Parker
